Yes, the pigtail is hard wired and connects directly to the power source from one end and the other end connects to the light.

Sorry, also I am looking to install them inside an old fixture. Renovating an old church bathroom and if I can fit these into the existing fixture it will be great.
They do not require a separate fixture. The led chips are already embeded on the fixture itself.
