I ordered these and am waiting for delivery. Just wondering...will these work without a ballast ? Are they double ended?
Yes, they can work withou a ballast as double or single-ended power. They can be wired as double-ended yes.

4 of these tubes have been direct wired (double-ended power) into a 4 T12 tube florescent fixture after removing the 2 ballasts. The lights work great but I'm wondering if there any safety concerns we need to be aware of?. Do I need to install an in-line fuse?
There are no safety converns as long as the wiring is getting anywhere from 100-277V, and the ballast have been properly removed, and the wiring set up is correct with Hot on one end, Neutral on the other. Our T8s replace T12s so no issues there either.
